The Coffee
Eden Coffee comes from Finca El Edén, our family farm located in the renowned coffee-growing region of Marcala, Honduras. Cultivated at high elevations and grown with care by our family, our coffee reflects the unique character of the land where it is produced.
Catuai Variety
Our coffee is primarily composed of Catuai, a variety known for its balanced flavor, smooth body, and excellent cup quality. When grown at high elevation, Catuai develops bright character and natural sweetness that make it especially prized among specialty coffee drinkers. Prominent sweet notes of chocolate, caramel, and honey with hints of almond, nuts, and mild spice delivered in every cup.
Coffee at Finca El Edén grows between 1,450 and 1,600 meters above sea level (4,757–5,249 feet). The cooler temperatures at these elevations slow the development of the coffee cherries, allowing them to mature gradually.
This slower maturation produces beans with deeper flavor, balanced acidity, and greater complexity in the cup.
